In this episode, I sit down with Seth Woolsey, Senior Project Manager at Woolsey Construction, to discuss his journey to project management and how his path led him there. At 18, Seth enlisted in the U.S. Army as an infantryman and later served in the Honor Guard. However, after his time in the military, he found himself at a crossroads, unsure of the direction his life should take. A series of jobs followed, but it wasn’t until he entered the construction industry—working alongside his brother—that Seth found his true calling. Starting out in the field, swinging a hammer, Seth dedicated himself to mastering the trade, and over time, his hard work and commitment opened the door to project management. In this conversation, Seth shares the highs, lows, and pivotal moments of his career path and what it takes to build a lasting career in construction.
